I have to say, this is one of my favorite DS releases of 2020 so far. I just love the folky elements in Krauhl's works, especially the string instruments and percussions. I sure hope that there will be an EU distro of the upcoming tape release!

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.

Every iteration of Eldritch Wizardry is a gem. On this album Chapter III evokes images of a small band of adventurers so common to the tropes of fantasy. But there's something sad behind the happy tones employed here. Almost like the whole journy could be a sung dirge. Celebratary but fatal. There is a doom inside this joy.
